Beaches
One of the great attractions of Nerja are its beautiful beaches. The closest beaches to the hostel are Calahonda beach, situated to the left of the Balcon de Europa and to the right you will find the Caletilla beach and then further along, the Salón beach. You can walk to any of these beaches, as they are only 250 metres from the hostel. Another mythical beach of Nerja to visit is Burriana Beach, a long beach where you will find many facilities to spend a great day at the beach.
Caves of Nerja
It is listed as an Asset of Cultural Interest, with the classification of Archaeological Area. Located in Maro, a district of Nerja, 4.5 km away.
Balcony of Europe
Named after King Alfonso XII, it is an impressive viewpoint overlooking the sea 250 metres from the hostel. A place to take a stroll and enjoy the marvellous views.
Museum of Nerja
Located a minute away from the hostel, in the Plaza España. It is the perfect place to learn about the culture and history of the town of Nerja and many secrets of the Nerja Cave.
Maro Waterfall
From a steep cliff, the Maro Waterfall offers us a fascinating sight with its natural free fall of water from a height of 15 metres into the sea. To approach it by kayak or canoe is a breathtaking experience, as is the crossing under the torrent of water.
Chillar River Route
The Chillar River is located in the heart of the Natural Park of the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama. It is a hiking route where you can enjoy natural pools and springs and the beauty of its famous narrow ravines.
